Burgess Everett gets some details on what's happening tonight at the White House. West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin, North Dakota Democrat Heidi Height Camp, and Indiana Democrat Joe Donnelly will break bread with the president under the watchful eye of Republicans John Thune and Pat Toomey. The topic, tax reform. The reality? A little bit more complicated. Republicans have been firm in their strategy. They're really only seeking Republicans support on tax reform. The Big Six, the group negotiating the details, is all Republicans. And they're moving on reconciliation, a process that only requires Republican support. By the way, do you think these Democrats will be swayed by a chicken dinner with Trump? Come on. This isn't fan fiction.

It's reality.

Stephen Mnuchin and Gary Cohn are meeting with the Senate budget Republicans today alongside Mitch McConnell. Big story in the Wall Street Journal this morning. Some Trump lawyers want Kushner out. They think he's too much of a risk in the Russian investigation. Axios' Jonathan Swan had this story months ago. A fun story in the Washington Post, federal buildings

around the country still have no portrait of Trump and Pence because the White House hasn't submitted

them. Over 24-hour Sunday, Snapchat received a quarter million submissions from people in the path

of Hurricane Irma. That's two and a half times more than what they got for Harvey. John Boehner

has released a statement this morning, urging Trump to stay in
