So, Chris O'Brien is back from his sojourn, from his mission of mercy or his secret voyage

under the tutelage of the CIA. No, we're not really CIA agents here, because if we were,

we're notoriously underpaid, and Obama's got to sign those checks. Well, I was a Colorado

investigative associate, but I'm in Arizona now, so I'm AIA. No, I went to work with David Perkins in Santa Fe. It's the third, well, the fourth

session that we've had plotting out and kind of fine-tuning our approach for mute speak, which is the

working title for the follow-up book,

The Stocking the Herd, which will be a complete analysis of all that data that's contained

in those 600 pages that Gene is kind of familiar with, although his eyes probably glazed

over like many people upon being

faced with the preponderance of data that's in that book. And it's a big job analyzing

thousands and thousands of cattle medallation cases. But hey, somebody's got to do it. It's still

an ongoing problem.

We still have cases being reported.

David Perkins is the most knowledgeable person in the field about that particular mystery.

And I'm honored to have him as co-author for the follow-up book.

What we've been doing is kicking around various theories, kicking around quite a bit of permutations, really, for lack of a better term. I like that word permutations. It implies so many

things. Well, yeah, there's a lot of things to consider. It's been quite the process.

Every time I go there, it's almost 900 miles for me, about 900 miles round trip.
