today. All right, let's get into it. In Punchable News a.m., we have the latest on Treasury Secretary

Jenny Allen calling Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday to discuss the debt limit situation.

Multiple sources are telling us about the conversation.

Unsurprising to anybody who has been following where Mitch McConnell is on this issue,

which yesterday we had an interview with him saying he is not bluffing.

He is not going to vote to raise the debt limit.

And he's stuck with that talking point.

It doesn't sound like much progress was made.

The latest sign of just how dug in both sides are on this issue, which is potentially

coming to a head, as we've spoken many times on this podcast
