Podcast Network. I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And the Lakers split a pair of hard-fought

games this weekend, first losing on Friday night to a Wolves team that's playing pretty well

right now, 110 to 102, and then getting a big win on Sunday against the Golden State Warriors.

In a game, they went up early, huge start, went up 20 in the first quarter, then gave it all

back with the bench unit, had a stretch where I think we missed 13 shots in a row.

But the running theme over the course of both games, Darius, was the brilliance of Anthony Davis.

Last week, we had a pod where in the first half, we marveled at how he warped the game on the

defensive end in particular.

Well, this was a weekend where his superstardom on the offensive end showed up as well.

And that was really the version of him that was just out of this world.

38 points against the wolves on Friday, followed by a 39 point performance against Golden State,

where he just took them apart.
