I'm Regina Vaidyanarvan. In Pakistan, security's been stepped up in the capital, Islamabad.

Barbed wire rolled across roads, police and the army patrolling the streets.

Guests have been told to leave hotels to make way for VIP visitors.

But will any of them turn up?

With a temporary ceasefire between Iran and the US due to expire on Wednesday,

the stage is being set for another round of talks, but we still don't know if they'll go ahead.

The White House says it's sending a delegation to Pakistan, led once again by the Vice President J.D. Vance.

But Iran says it's got no plans for the next round.

In a news conference earlier, Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmail Bagai,

explained that it was because America had intercepted an Iranian-flagged cargo ship.

So far, we have no plans for the next round of negotiations,

and no decision has been made in this regard.

After that, an understanding was reached on Lebanon.

We were faced with their actions in the Strait of Hormuz,

including what they have termed a naval blockade. In just the past hours, he witnessed that an attack was carried out

on an Iranian commercial vessel. All of these are considered clear violations of the ceasefire.
