Today on the exam room. Let's face it, time does take a toll. That said, 65 is not old age.

0:10.4

Let me be clear. It seems like old age when you're 18, but 65 is an age where people should be

0:15.6

vigorous, sharp. If you could run a marathon when you're 45, you should easily be able to run one

0:20.3

when you're 65. You are not old yet. Honest to goodness, if you ran it at 45, you should be able to run it at 65.

0:26.3

0:32.5

0:53.8

0:55.8

crowd, the seniors, I know time just happens to roll by. But we get so many questions here

1:00.8

wondering what can I do to improve my diet? Do I need to add extra supplements? Do I need to

1:06.4

exercise more? Exercise less? Do I need more or less protein once I hit that 65 number?

1:12.0

Well, today we're going to talk about that with someone who does not look a day over 45.

1:17.2

Dr. Neil Barnard, thanks for being here, my friend.

1:19.2

Thank you, Chuck. Great to be with you today.

1:21.0

Really important topic. I'm not joking when I say that we get inundated with messages from people here on the exam room live,

1:28.0

asking for help because, you know, they're feeling their age, so to speak.

1:32.0

And they've been doing the same thing.

1:34.0

They've been doing their entire life.

1:35.3

And they had felt fine up until now.
