and I was planning on taking a week off from podcasting. I know Todd Zola and Jeff Erickson have a great pod coming for everyone, I think Thursday.

But I had to have Tim McLeod on because I finally got to hang out with Tim at First

Beach, Arizona for the first time this past year.

And I had mentioned that I'd really love to have him on whenever kind of the top guys

from Asia signed this year, because that is definitely not my wheelhouse.

But my buddy Ian Khan has been saying for years that Tim's the guy to talk to whenever these guys sign.

And, I mean, he just knows these guys better than probably anyone I know.

So really excited to have Tim on and thanks so much for

joining me. Thanks so much for the invite, James. And I'll have to thank Ian for the kind words.

We go back a long ways and are very good friends. And I know he likes, I know he likes your

rankings as just Jeff Erickson. So I'm really excited to be on talking about some of the Asian players. And again, I thank you. Yeah, no, the pleasure is all mine. I'm here to learn. How long have you been kind of focused on that market? I know in your baseball HQ bio,

it said you've been looking for the next Etero for quite some time.

Yeah, I think my first published player capsule was going back to,

oh, somewhere around 2005.

And at that point in time, Peter Kreitzer of the Askeroteman Peter Kreitzer and the fantasy baseball guy was looking for somebody who might be able to contribute some information on Japanese players.

So I quickly wrote up a blurb about Dice K. Matsuzaka and said when he comes over he's going to break the bank and i never

thought peter'd publish it but he did and that was the beginning of a long journey writing and

podcasting so i thank you peter for that opportunity and yeah it goes back to dice k pretty well as

as my first scoted Japanese player.

Yeah, that's a lot of players between DiceK and now.

Yeah, a pile.
