Welcome to the multi-award winning Spurs podcast from The Athletic. It is The View from the Lane. I'm Kate Mason.

0:40.8

Joining me today are Dan Kilpatrick and Jay Harris. And it has been only a week since the season ended. It feels as though things have been going on.

0:47.8

Lots and lots of statements that we went through in the last episode from Peter Charrington, the Lewis family and Ven I of Venkatesham.

0:55.2

And we are now going to have a public statement from Dan Kilpatrick who returns to the podcast since we've been hearing from all of these big dogs, a fitting man to comment on the way things have been going at Tottenham

1:00.7

since the season ended. There's a lot to, there's a lot to get into in that, isn't there, Dan?

1:47.0

proper media interviews, you know, with proper questions, not kind of interviews with club website

1:52.6

and bland statements. But I feel like it's a decent start, you know, putting something on,

1:58.4

putting words on paper. But, like, words are cheap, I think,

2:03.7

obviously, to be a bit cynical about this. And, and, you're worth saying, if you're a billionaire,

2:10.4

like the Lewis family are, then words are especially cheap. You know, I don't imagine that,

2:17.1

you know, when you're sort of doing a joint stag speech

2:20.4

and you do loads of Zoom calls with the other guy you're doing it with
