enjoys playing games and especially tabletop role-playing games, I have a bit of a collection

of dice and I think that's a normal thing for people who are in the hobby

because in order to play the games you do need

at least one set of polyhedral dye

so for your standard game of Dungeons and Dragons, for example, you're going to need five sets of dice, perhaps six.

And each one of those dice has a different purpose.

And I'll walk you through those dice before I start to talk about dice themselves,

but even if you don't play TTRPs, you might also empathise with me when I say that

there's something very special and jewel-like about a nice, you fresh, set of dyes.

And everyone is familiar with the role of a dice.

You know, if you've played almost any board game, they usually

include some kind of element of chance. And the most common dice that most people would be familiar with is the cube dice.

In fact, if you mention the word dice to most people, or a die, as I believe the singular term is, for a dice,

for dice, which is the plural, that is to say. They will think of

the six-sided dice, the cube, or what is known in TTRP circles as a D-6, dice six. And this has, for whatever reason, become the most common kind of dice.

Used in all sorts of board games, often in gambling as well, you will find it. The game of Yatsi,

for example.
