We've been having some fairly interchangeable weather here recently lots of quick showers that seem to come really hard and fast

and then followed by brief spells of beautiful crisp sunshine. It does make it a little

bit difficult to plan your days if you're intending to head out. You know, you seem to always be taking off layers of clothing

or putting back on your jacket every 10 minutes or so, but it is nice to have weather like that, sometimes, I think.

It can be quite exciting in a way.

And recently, when we were out and about, my partner prompted me to look up into the sky,

and she pointed out that the sky was almost split down the middle, entirely divided by dark, stormy clouds on one side,

and a bright blue sky on the other with just a few smattering of soft fluffy clouds.

It was a very stark juxtaposition.

You could definitely see the weather that was about to pour over us.

It made me realize a little bit how important, how ever-present clouds are to our day-to-day lives.

You know, if someone asks you what it is that you see, if you were to look up in an outside space or in the middle of the countryside or something,

I suppose your intuitive answer might be, well, the sky, of course.

But really, one of the first things we're bound to see are the clouds in the sky.

And especially in a place like where I live, where some days you'll wake up and cannot see the sky at all. No patch of sky is visible.

So a stretching, grey, white expanse above your head.

It's purely cloud. And sometimes you look up at this and you forget

that you're not actually looking at the sky. And you are in fact looking up at vast clouds
