Anyway, so Janet Yellen earlier mentioned that June 1st is the drop dead date.

That's less than a month from now.

So he's May 2nd that they have that we have to solve or resolve the issue of the debt

ceiling.

In other words, that's the date America begins to default on its borrowed money.

So they need to raise the debt ceiling.

All right, to give you a little history, we talked about it some with Mac Gates.

If you go back from the very beginning, your president Joe decided that he would not

talk to Congress.

He would not talk to Kevin McCarthy.

He said there will be no debate, no discussion, no negotiation.

And by the way, they echoed those same sentiments even today and we're what 30 days out now

hitting that June 1st date.

So anyway, maybe back 90 days ago or so, they finally did meet.

They have a meeting for May 9th.

It'll almost be day 100 since McCarthy was invited to the White House to talk about

the debt ceiling with Joe Biden, although listening to clean Jean Pierre earlier today,

they have no intention of negotiating at all.
