Craning Company, our Saturday special with Senator Josh Holly from Missouri, a guy that

loves sports like we do. We're excited to talk to him. Senator Holly, I know you're super

busy, man. There's a lot going on in the world right now that's way bigger than sports,

and we appreciate you taking some time to talk with us.

Hey, thanks for having me, guys. This is so much fun.

Definitely. Well, I want to start on a debate that's going around right now,

and to me, I can't even believe this is a debate, just like it's not a debate to walk into

traffic or walk off a cliff unless you're hang gliding or have a parachute. It's letting men

play in women's sports. And to me, this isn't even an issue of who you want to be or who you love.

This isn't even a political issue. It's a safety issue. And again, we're not talking about four

or five-year-olds playing soccer together. We're talking about letting grown men

are high school age and then college age men literally take away sports from women.

And my question to you is, as somebody who has the power to help change these things,

are we really going to have to sit back and let this get awful before it gets fixed?

Are you think we have a legitimate shot at stopping this before it just kind of

infects every area of women's sports? Oh, I think we can stop it. I think we have to stop it.

And I think what you say is exactly right. This is about safety. It's also about to use a word

that I hear a lot these days, equity. Yeah. And this is about, you know, listen, women deserve to

have their own sports. I thought we had decided that many, many years ago when we passed title

line that carved out special place for women to have their own sports. So yeah, you should be able

to have your own sports teams. Why is that a debate? But now we're being forced to have that debate
