This is not old friends and family

month for me. I had a friend on last Tuesday. I got a friend on this Tuesday, but he's not on

because he's a friend, although he is. He's on because he's a really significant United States

Senator from the great state of Oklahoma who serves on committees that are really important.

And, you know, you will remember, for those of you that listen to my interview with

John Lagansky about the speaker, he mentioned that there are far more good eggs in the

House and Senate than we ever hear about.

I mean, we hear about the bad eggs.

We don't hear about the good eggs.

There may not be a better egg than James Langford from Oklahoma,

and that would be the consensus of his former House colleagues

and his Senate colleagues.

You don't see him on television pulling his hair out. You don't see

making personal attacks. He's a very thoughtful, very measured, very ethical, very authentically

spiritual person who also happens to be in the United States Senate, is how I would describe him.
