China has conducted military exercises in Taiwan as a reaction to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's trip to the island earlier this month. Military tensions have now been heightened as the country announced plans to participate in joint military drills and war games alongside Russia this week. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is the latest American lawmaker to visit Taiwan. After the FBI seized documents from former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, his legal team has requested a special master to review the documents in question to ensure the Justice Department’s investigation does not use privileged, private materials taken during the search.
