It's day seven. An Uncle Sam may proceed with his military campaign against Iran. This week, both the House

and Senate voted down measures that proposed preventing President Trump from launching any more

attacks on Iran without congressional approval. Critics questioned whether the U.S. faced an imminent

threat from Iran, which is a legal requirement for the commander-in-chief to take

military action Sands Congress when Trump ordered last Saturday's attacks. Supporters argued the

operation has been, quote, necessary, lawful, and effective, and reversing it would now weaken America.

The votes came as violence continues across the Middle East.
