Happy Wednesday. Happy actual Independence Day, right? As we all learned, it was July 2nd and, you know, we just didn't broadcast it until July 4th. So you can start celebrating Independence Day in July 2nd. There's another anniversary, though, that today brings forward. And that is we're 90 days from Liberation Day.

Do you remember Liberation Day?

That was when Donald Trump announced reciprocal tariffs on the world.

The markets went crazy.

He backed down almost immediately.

Then it became the pause with these tariffs. And we were promised

90 deals and 90 days. Well, today is the 90th day. Do you think we have 90 deals? Do you think we

have nine deals? We basically sort of kind of have two deals. And that's being generous about what a deal is, meaning we have a framework for an agreement with China, and we have a framework for an agreement with the UK.

So that's two.

India apparently is close.

You know, in theory, the Treasury Secretary Scott B Besson, is now claiming that it's more like Labor Day.

July 8th, by the way, which is coming up in six days.

If Donald Trump does nothing, then all these reciprocal tariffs go back.

We know he's not going to do that.

So he will extend that pause because not

extending that pause would be financially catastrophic, particularly for him and his wealthier friends,

because the markets would be very angry about that. And it would also upend all sorts of

in the middle of these negotiations. But needless to say,

despite the promises of Peter Navarro, which I, you know, I went to the grocery store.

I was looking for some milk. And I think I saw Peter Navarro's picture on the back of that milk carton.

I'm only half kidding here. Notice who got sidelined and who's no longer speaking much publicly about trade deals.

You see a little bit of Lutnik, but notice you don't see a lot of Howard Lutnik either.
