Reductions in medical care and cuts in taxes.

Hello again, I'm Warren Alney, and this is To the Point.

Republicans have promised to abolish Obamacare and cut taxes for the

richest Americans. First, the House, now the Senate, would accomplish both at the same time,

at the cost of shredding the safety net for millions of poor and elderly people. A few moderate Republicans

say the Senate bill goes too far, and some conservatives say it doesn't go far enough.

Majority leader Mitch McConnell is trying to find an acceptable balance to pass the bill by the end of next week.

We'll look at the elements and get a progress report.

Later on today's talking point are black Americans entitled to protect themselves under the Second Amendment. First,

year's election the political crime of the century. It was quickly traced to President Vladimir Putin.
