He beat 23-year incumbent John Cornyn by an almost two to one margin.

And he said it is all, all, thanks to an 11th hour endorsement from President Trump.

When everyone in Washington told him to abandon me and abandon the people of Texas, he didn't listen.

Instead, he gave his complete and total endorsement.

President Trump is the leader of our party, and his endorsement is the most powerful force in politics.
