I was like, hey, can I, like, sit here? And she was like, oh, my... What initially drew you into luxury real estate? How do you just jump into that?

I've always been like business oriented and

you know growing up I I lived right kind of near where the strand is in Dana Point and I remember

walking past those houses and I was like oh my gosh I want to one live in these houses and to

sell these houses. So I think just like the live in these houses and two, sell these houses.

So I think just like the beautiful architecture and houses and it being like the biggest purchase in people's lives is what drew me the most to luxury real estate.

If you're going to do anything, you want to go the biggest to jump into that.

How do you get connected with the Oppenheim group?

I got connected to the Oppenheim group just by other people that have been working there. And my office that I worked at previously was like a few doors down from the Oppenheim group. So I'd always see it when I went on my walks and stuff like at the office. So yeah, one day they just reached out to me and I was like, you know what, this could be a good opportunity. And at that point get on the reality show as well or that's just part of the group I think it was kind of hand in hand like they wanted me a part of the Oppenheim group and then kind of following that I had the opportunity for the show which was nothing I had ever really thought about before and I was just honestly, I thought it was like a scam at first when I got like an email. And then I was like, you know what? I'm just going to respond and see what happens, you know. Is there an audition process? Are you meeting with the different people? Do you meet with Jason? I did an interview and it was just a Zoom with someone on the production team. and I, like, I didn't really know, like, what I was doing or, like, kind of just jumping into it. So I was just chatting with the guy. It was super, super nice. Because this is your first time in reality TV. First time in reality TV. Like, whole new world. Never thought about it. Yeah. I think a while ago, like, okay, one time someone reached out to me to be on like a dating show, but I never did like an interview or anything. I was like, yeah, I think I'm good. I remember my whole family was like, you're going to embarrass the family. I was like, oh my God. But yeah, so I did the interview. And then afterwards, I kind of just forgot about it. I was like, you know, it was a cool opportunity and my life is the same without it.

So I'm not really going to, you know, like have my hopes up.

And then I want to say like six months, six to eight months later, they texted me for another interview.

And I was like, oh, my God god I totally forgot about this and I did

the other interview and then shortly after that they were like okay so you probably know this by now

but we want you on the show and I was like what really like totally unexpected are you part of the

op-and-hine group at this point um I just joined the op-and-hine group yeah so I was meeting everyone and no one knew I was on the show. And that was like a very interesting experience, but exciting. So what's that first day of filming like for selling OC? Oh my God. I was so nervous. I was so nervous. You're the new guy. I'm the new guy. I wanted to like become friends with everyone.
