In the case of Kansas basketball coach Bill Self's heart condition and health,

all's well, that ends well.

And we are now learning much, much more about what's been going on with Bill Self's health

for almost a year now. You may recall in March, the incident at the Big 12 tournament,

how his season ended when he was admitted to the University of Kansas Health System Hospital

in Kansas City and stayed for several days for a heart condition. Kansas put out a press release saying he did not

have a heart attack, everything's okay, nothing to see here. Then he didn't coach in the NCAA tournament

but traveled with the team, waited several weeks afterwards before he met with the media to discuss

what had happened. He went to Florida. We're now learning that

he mulled over retirement. He thought about a lot of different things in his time in Florida, where

he essentially said from day to day he got bored at his house in Florida with nothing more to do

than to go to the store or walk the beach and realized how much he loved coaching and missed coaching,

came back, had a news conference, described what happened in March, but left out the

important part. The big story, until now. We talked about this in March. There were all
