Bless up everybody. You don't know, I am Hines today in Hinesight. I have my lemon grass

tea with me. It's been a minute since I had this. This is one of my favorite morning

teas. It's like an internal bath within your whole system. It's beautiful. I wanted

to talk about self-love today because self-love is a trendy topic. It's a sexy topic these

days. But the thing about self-love is it's a form of service. Self-love is service. We

think of self-love as this act of loving ourselves for ourselves, but I think it's actually in

service to others because what we do to ourselves, we do to others. The way we treat ourselves

reflects inner energy, our actions. I think the most honorable thing you can do on this planet

is to be a service to others. If you reframe yourself love in a way that is loving yourself

is service to others, now you're talking. Now we're living. I like to think about mirrors

a lot. Have you ever thought about what life was like before mirrors? We were born and

always had mirrors, so we've always been able to have an image of ourselves reflect back

to us in the bathroom. But think before a time when mirrors didn't even exist, human beings

couldn't see themselves. I assume they could only see themselves of the reflection and the light

was just right in a pond or a river. But besides that, they had no image of self. But their

community, their friends, their family, their loved ones were the mirrors. So when they extended

their love to someone, that person would reflect that love back. When they shared that compassion,

that person would mirror back with a smile, with gratitude, maybe with a hug. If they screamed

at someone, if they got mad at someone, that person would mirror back at them with pain,

with fear, maybe with some tears, right? So there would be direct reflections from the energy

they put out, right? We experienced this as well, but we have more identity of ourselves, right?

We have more of an image of ourselves. So when we think of self love, a lot of the times
