What is up, you guys? Welcome back to the pod. Happy Friday. Today, I want to do a refresher on a really

important topic that's near and dear to my heart and that is confidence. Now, I feel like a lot of

the content out there about confidence is very, it's very preachy, but it's not practical. And you know, I, I stay in the practical realm.

I like to tell you exactly how to do something because I think sometimes if someone's just yelling

at you, oh, be confident, be confident. You're like, how the fuck do I do that? I didn't even think

about my confidence in my 20s. I didn't consider it. But I now looking back, I wish I had thought more

practically about it as a tool, as a superpower, a tool in my toolkit in order to get things.

So I'm going to talk a little bit about why I think it's so important to be confident and then I'm going to give you actual practical examples of things to do to increase

your confidence. I, for the record, was not confident in my 20s. I was deeply, deeply insecure and

that manifested in a lot of different ways. It manifested in a way that I would, I didn't think I was

worthy of a lot of things, jobs, boys,

love, even certain kind of friendship experiences I didn't really think I was worthy of. So it is a huge

disservice to yourself if you are not confident. And also I think sometimes you can be kind of mean when you're insecure.

And I think back to sometimes in my 20s when I was a little mean, or maybe I couldn't be happy

for my friends.

And it was because I was not confident.

So it does really affect every area of your life.

But I think confidence is more nuanced than people kind of make kind of make out to be, make it out to be.

Again, I think I see a lot of reels come up on my Instagram that are, you know, be confident.

Oh my gosh.

You know, just tell yourself, you're confident.

And it's just, it's so much more complex than that.
