Today I want to share the power of sacred ritual and how you can infuse your life with more peace and tranquility.

Ritual serves to focus our attention and intention so that we have opportunity to honor, heal, and work with our personal energy.

Today I'd like to share some of my favorite rituals with you.

The very first one has to do with how with you Woke up to the alarm clock and pressed the snooze button over and over and over again because I really didn't want to get up and get on with my day.

That was a time in my life when I wasn't really enjoying what I was doing for a living and I was quite a night owl and so I didn't enjoy waking up so much in the morning.

Things have changed a great deal for me now.

I no longer wake up to an alarm clock, but instead, if I do need to be up quite early in the morning,

we'll wake up to the sound of chimes or gongs, something that isn't the move more gracefully in the morning. I love to allow myself the chance to linger a bit in

bed and to set an intention for the day, whatever that may be, it might be to enjoy the best day ever.

It might be to be more patient and kind and loving.

is a wonderful sacred ritual and very honoring of yourself.

One of my very favorite rituals is a bathing ritual. I try and

fit as many baths in each week as I possibly can because I find them to be sensual, relaxing, and frankly some of my very best ideas come to me while bathing.

One of the best things you can do for yourself is stock up on bath salts and your favorite bubble baths and make

sure you have lots of tea lights and maybe even special flowers or plants or whatever it is that you find beautiful

that you can surround yourself with while bathing. My very favorite bath is surrounded by tea light candles, lots of yummy bubbles, and reading by candlelight.
