We want everything to be easy.

It's easier just to quit

than to work through things with people.

You all clapped when I said Dave and I've been married 49 and a half years.

Well let me tell you, a lot of those years we weren't clapping.

Come on there's times when it just won't work. I guess I'll give you one little out just in case you can't stand this message but

My gosh the things now

that back then I just thought well I if he's going to keep doing that there's no way that I can stay with him

And you know what now he still does a lot of the same things and I think it's funny

Come on a lot of you are upset over stuff, you're ready to quit on something and it's not even really that big of a deal except you just want it all to be easy. You know, when you marry somebody, don't look at them and in your heart think I hope you make me happy.

You know how many people get divorces because somebody else is not making them happy?

You know what God told me when I was like, well, do you, he said,

quit making Dave responsible for your joy.

Get happy.
