It has been an eventful few days for the Detroit Red Wings, but the two most important things are that Dylan Larkin is back, and Moritz Seider blew up Filip Forsberg in his 1st career fight.

Tune in as we open by discussing the Red Wings win over Patrick Roy's New York Islanders, including the captain Dylan Larkin's triumphant return, the Copp - Rasmussen - Fischer line dominating, DeBrincat finding Kane, Simon Edvinsson's huge plays, Fischer's "sorry mom" moment, Reimer getting the win & Lucas Raymond not having to carry the team as Lalonde's squad won a huge playoff matchup (5:00). After that, the close 1-0 loss to Saros and the Nashville Predators, including Moritz Seider's big left hand (to the delight of Mickey Redmond and Ken Daniels) and its similarities to DeBrincat - Josi, Alex Lyon's strong performance, the playoff feel to the game, and more (19:15).

Next, we discuss Hockeytown's playoff probabilities, with the Washington Capitals running hot, the Flyers and the Islanders still in the mix, and what Detroit has ahead to earn its way in (33:10).

After that, updates as Michigan State beat Michigan for the B1G Championship, with Trey Augustine winning Most Outstanding player & Red Savage being another Red Wings prospect to lift the trophy, as well as Sebastian Cossa's hot streak with the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins (41:55).

Finally, NHL news including Tom Wilson's suspension, Ovechkin chasing Gretzky's goal record, McDavid chasing MacKinnon & Kucherov for the Art Ross, the Hart Trophy, & lots more (45:15) before we take your questions and comments during our Overtime segment (1:01:35) - enjoy!

Dimitri did have the best line after that sider fight with Forsberg. That was just a

0:24.8

shampoo commercial. A very effective shampoo commercial. The hair flip at the end

0:29.3

like that was all scripted. We were talking about before the episode when Forsberg landed those

0:35.4

first couple shots. I legitimately was worried most I was too pretty for

0:38.8

this. Now do you see the look on his face man? He was an animal. Oh, it took all of one and a half seconds for me to realize I was wrong with that initial thought and there were no concerns from that point on, but there was that brief moment.

0:54.0

I think the long hair is actually a strategic advantage because if he stays still, like if he leaves his head in the same spot,

1:00.0

it'll just fall in front of his eyes.

1:02.0

So he constantly has to be like bobbing and weaving

1:03.8

to duck out of the way of the punches

1:05.1

to keep also to keep the hair out of his face.

1:06.8

It's pretty smart by Mo.

1:07.8

The defensive mechanism.

1:09.4

The look on his face though, like teeth bared.

1:12.4

I was like, oh, he wants to kill Forsberg this is

1:15.0

nuts he almost did when he switched to the left okay but the best part of that whole fight is like we're all losing it because we're watching

1:27.0

Mo Sider and his first official fight as recorded and you know he's throwing some big punches he switches to the left he's beating the

1:35.7

brakes off of Philip Forsberg and the commentary as Ken is calling out the

punches like pumped up like a boxing commentator all you hear is
