One innocent-looking plant harbbors and agonizing secret,

as a single brush of its leaves is enough to cause excruciating pain for months.

The Dindro- nindro sned morodes is known as the world's most dangerous plant

even morphine rendered ineffective against its venom.

Morphe more thing about that. The shrub has numerous names including the gimpy gimpy, the stinging bush, the

Queensland stinger, and the giant Australian stinging tree. It has also been called the suicide plant.

Like one of the names suggests, the plant is native to the rainforest of Australia.

They can grow 115 feet tall.

That's right. It looks like a tree.

But some painful and persistent are the effects of the plant that signs are often posted along

tracks, particularly in Queensland and trails warning hikers and tourists of the dangers that lurk ahead.

They say the small shrub which can grow into a huge tree was in a cage at a showing in England with a sign that read danger.

The world's most dangerous plant, one touch, can induce nine months of a tense,

reoccurring throbbing pain.
