Hola, gentlemen. Hola.

Okay, so this happened when I was a little girl, which is a really long time ago. So I was about my brother and I think we're like seven or maybe eight.

And my mom worked late. So she had like hired one of the teenagers in town that needed a little down on her locks. Maybe 17, 18 to like be like a little live in any situation.

Okay. So we didn't have to be last key kid. So she would like take us and our friends from the neighborhood in the summertime to the local pool.

When we go down there and one summer we were all down there and everyone started to get hungry. I don't know why she didn't pack a picnic lunch ahead of time.

Because she said you come with me. We'll leave them here. There's lifeguards and stuff. It's fine. We'll go back and pack a lunch and then we'll come back.

So we're on the way and we have to cross a bridge over the Spokane River. Well, she's a smoker. So she goes and sits on one of those like wells that go into the ground and it overlooks the river.

And I'm sitting there with her while she smokes her cigarette. I don't know why she's got a sitting smoke, but we're doing that. And we're just watching the river and all of a sudden this mannequin comes floating up.

Oh, we thought it was a mannequin. Oh, no. Yeah. So, but like maybe two months before her girlfriend in town went with her boyfriend skiing and she just never showed back up.

So everybody kind of just, you know, the adults are talking around. We're like, well, she probably just, you know, eloped with the guy or I mean, they're like 18.

You had not seen either of them since then. No, and it turned out it was not a mannequin in that river. It was her best friend.

Oh, wow. Did she recognize her when she saw her?

No, we didn't. We looked like a doll. It was like face down and stuff, but it has a long blonde hair and everything. And then so we got a little closer because obviously you're curious. And now I'm, I'm like seven. I'm not. This is not going to go away.

So now I need to know what the hell is going on. So we go down there and her face was turned a little bit. And yes, that's where she's been.

Wow. That's traumatic for a seven year old. So I only guess our 17 year old that are 27 year old at that point or anybody. Yeah.

I only guess at that point, your, your baby said to the living Andy, whatever she did recognize that that was her friend.

Absolutely. Both of us did. So what's the next thing you do?

Well, we went back to our home and we did have to make the sandwiches for old kids still at the pool and she ended up calling the police.

And then on our way back down there, she met them there and I took the sandwiches back to the pool because I'm seven.

Damn. Did you hear anything else about it or was that that's kind of the whole thing?
