| 0:30.0 | But we're doing a little research today. We started with the 60s, right, and moving ourselves forward. You realize things change in the 80s and you realize with the advent of the microwave oven. |
| 0:40.0 | Food, seriously, man, you didn't have them in the 70s or once the microwave got introduced and came a common appliance like the meals that people made, changed a lot. |
| 0:49.0 | And also, I think this was the true beginning of parents' sake. Make it yourself. |
| 0:54.0 | So we got out of the casserole days, the terrible things that we used to make in the 70s and 60s. I know miles from at that ricer, I said, God, I got to find a microwave. |
| 1:03.0 | You don't necessarily have to. I know, but just simple stuff like that like the rice or steam packs or just little things. Popcorn maybe. |
| 1:10.0 | Popcorn is the one for me. We actually bought it. So we've been microwave free for years and years and years now. I kind of like it better that way. |
| 1:15.0 | Just you put more thought in the cooking. You have longer conversations. We actually got a microwave for like my daughter's six or seventh birth eggs. |
| 1:22.0 | My wife came up with the idea that I hated to do a spa day for those little girls and part of that included melting down wax or something like that. |
| 1:31.0 | But I don't know, man, it takes doing what she's doing to make themselves feel better, right? But we needed a microwave. |
| 1:36.0 | So we still have the microwave. The only thing I have cooked in that microwave since we've had it is microwave pop. |
| 1:43.0 | So family recipes, you totally ate the 80s include chicken and Swiss casserole. I'm not sure if I've ever had that. I don't know that one. |
| 1:52.0 | It was, I do remember it. It basically was like any casserole you had in the previous decades, but instead of being tuna and frickin cream of mushroom soup, |
| 2:00.0 | they said, let's take actual Swiss cheese, actual chicken, melting them with the noodles. That's not the worst. |
| 2:06.0 | Pepperoni pizza loaf. Now to me, that sounds great because I'm a pepperoni roll guy coming from West Virginia. |
| 2:11.0 | I don't know if that I've ever had a pepperoni pizza loaf. I'd have to look that up. Does it sound familiar? |
| 2:17.0 | No. Sausage lasagna. Yep. Always. Turkey sloppy joes. How about any kind of sloppy joe? |
| 2:24.0 | A mammoth. Yeah. Did they start breaking off the ground turkey then? I feel it to ground turkey is more of like a mid-90s foil. |
| 2:30.0 | I don't remember ground turkey. But with sloppy joes, it somehow is not as bad. I think. |
| 2:35.0 | Oh, it's salty. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with ground turkey. It can be ground in a big place. You would not know. |
| 2:39.0 | It's a great turkey burgers. Short than other things, but like a turkey meat loaf kind of is just... |
| 2:45.0 | No. When's the last time you had a sloppy joe? Oh, man, it's been long. It's been so long. It's been so long. |
