If we go to Texas, police officers in Texas had a visiting family kinda held a gunpoint.

Looks like I made a mistake.

The officer tells the Arkansas family, after nordeal that included a six grade boy being

placed in handcuffs.

The Frisco officer had spotted a black Dodge charger with an out-of-state license plate

as it left a hotel on July 23rd.

But the officer did not know, was the family from Little Rock, had traveled to the Dallas

area for a youth basketball tournament.

Well, because chargers are, quote, frequently stolen, the officer conducted a computer check

on the vehicle's Arkansas license plate, police said in the release, but the officer incorrectly

entered the state as Arizona, oops, and not Arkansas.

Receiving an incorrect registration return, the officer suspected the vehicle to be stolen

in initiated a high-risk traffic stop.
