I'm really grateful that you have chosen to listen to this podcast and make me a very small but hopefully positive part of your day.

That is definitely the most important thing for me.

I'm feeling kind of reflexive because yesterday was my birthday.

I know, big deal, right?

I am old, older.

However you want to look at it, that's what I am.

And I'm just glad to be, honestly, kind of glad to be here at this point.

There's no guarantees in life, you know, so just grateful.

Grateful in part because I choose to be, if that makes sense.

Some of it I come by naturally.

Some of it is hard work. But anyway, as always,

thank you to you. You count. You matter. You are valid. And you are the most important part of the

podcast. Because without you, there's just nothing. It's just me in this room, this closet, where I record this podcast at night while my

daughter sleeps, it would just be me talking to a closet. And there are worse things I've done

with my time, but you salvage this whole thing and make it a legitimate use of my time. So thank you for that.
