0:04.3

and co-host Emma. Hey, Emma. Hey, Crystal. Okay, today's going to be a little bit different,

0:08.8

and I'm looking forward to this. You know, a lot of our episodes are around different topics.

0:13.9

We are diving deep into doctrine and scripture, and we're going to talk through a lot of those

0:18.8

things in a different way because we're going to be talking about lot of those things in a different way because

0:41.3

Maybe you're listening going like, oh, like reading is either hard for me and I don't really enjoy it.

0:42.3

Hey, listen, we want to invite you in this conversation.

0:45.3

0:50.3

I have to really work at the discipline of incorporating reading into my day-to-day rhythms.

0:55.7

1:00.6

people that are like, oh, well, of course, by nature of your job. Like, that is Lind itself. Like,

1:05.1

if you're a writer and editor, you're probably also a reader. But what you'd like stick around.

1:09.4

Like regardless if you'd consider yourself a big reader or not, because hopefully we'll talk about a lot of things that apply

1:14.2

regardless of kind of like where you would categorize yourself. So grab some coffee and like get a cozy

1:20.8

spot. Settle in. I'm excited to talk through more of this. And we're not going to start off

1:24.9

with favorite things. Also a little bit different because we're going to talk about them at the end with what books we're reading because those are our favorite things right now. So let's jump into this. We're going to talk about what it means to actively pursue wisdom as we're reading, whether it's scripture or whether it's something outside of scripture. What is wisdom and why is it important? We see wisdom all throughout

1:44.6

scripture. One verse, Proverbs 1 7 says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge or

1:50.4

wisdom. In fools, despise wisdom and discipline. And so we see this theme throughout scripture

1:56.6
