In today's podcast, we wrap up our week on seeking God by looking at the act of seeking God through community.

You may be a people person or a total introvert, but either way, God wants to use His church

to encourage you and draw you closer to him. The Lord loves unity in his

body and he longs for his church, his bride to worship and seek him as one. May God open your

heart and mind today to the community he's placed you in in this season. Welcome to the first of team

Our scripture for today comes from Hebrews 10, 24 through 25. God's word says, and let us consider how to stir

up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together as is in the habit of some,

but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

We were not created to go about this life apart from a relationship with fellow children of God.

Without our brothers and sisters, we will never experience the fullness of life God intends for us.

In community, we discover our place in the body of Christ. In community,

we learn what it is to serve out of love, honor, and respect. And in community, we receive the

healing and love that can only come from those who share in the same spirit.

Acts 2, 42 through 27 says,

And they devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching and the fellowship

to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

And all came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.

And all who believed were together and had all things in common,

and they were selling their possessions and belongings, and distributing the proceeds to all as any had need.

And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received

their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people.
