Happy New Year and welcome to our 2023 inaugural edition of Words Matter.

And we're going to keep to what we've been doing in Words Matter where we discuss issues

that are of importance and not just upcoming elections, but my wonderful co-host, Norm Ornstein

and myself want to make sure that we go into 2023 with the same commitment we had in 2022

when we started this podcast, which is to try to bring you as many perspectives on what

our leaders should or could be talking about.

So let's get into that.

We're going to cover this topic of just, there's some notable things happening, Norm,

you would say, in 2023 while we're recording this podcast.

Maybe not, sure, not maybe front of the page above the old newspaper, but we think it's

worth spending some time on.

But I think in addition to that, for our members only section, please try to join us if you

can.

We are also going to touch on some of the more recent events around COVID and some anti-vaxxer

energy that has cropped up, unfortunately, with Grant Wall's death and with Demar

Hamlin's cardiac arrest to the Buffalo Bills NFL player, who is good news, reportedly doing

much better by press as well as his own doctors and his team.
