One of the tools that I'd like to encourage you to add to your toolbox in your study of scripture, is that of Bible geography, studying the land

of our Lord. Now, I must confess to you that when I was in school, geography was not my favorite

subject and certainly not my best subject. And yet, it's very important. Remember, God created

this world. It was our Lord who chose that little spot on the map,

the nation of Israel, that land, about 150 miles from north to south and 30 to 90 miles wide,

depending on where you are, about the size of New Jersey. Think of that. That's what the Lord

chose. Put his hand on and touched. And that's where

he sent his son. And so I think that being said, we ought to be very interested in Bible geography.

Geography has been called the eye of history. It helps you see things differently. A good map often

helps you visually in your study of the gospel records.
