enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. And there are times, I often say this, that God

will allow an overplayed enemy attack to position us for freedom. So he allows old hurts to surface,

not to expose us, but to expose them so he can heal them. He allows old buried lies to emerge so he can

extract them and replace them with the truth. He draws us into encounters with him so that we can be

changed and we can understand that we have a God in heaven who knows our name, loves us, hears us

when we cry out to him, and he does something about it.

These things are true.

And I got to say, one of my favorite things about novels are when they involve these kinds of concepts.
