Ah, what is it? It is the 2nd of June. And a lot of people still ask, what's the deal with those bananas? There's no deal with the bananas other than they just happen to be there. And people click them in the Rumble live chat. If you're not on Rumble, you don't have to worry about it. But they just look happy. And I want you to look happy. You know, if your happenings happen to happen happily, you'll be happy. And if your happenings happen to happen unhappily, you'll be unhappy. So that's not worried too much about our happiness because that's based on circumstances. Let's focus on joy. All right, let's get a little bit of that this morning. And I hope that you do find joy in studying the scripture with me. These are my devotional thoughts. These are my Bible study times. You guys are sitting in with me. I I'm not your preacher I'm not your pastor I go find one of those I'm not yet

but I do like studying the scripture with you and and it's a good time for me so

we discover the scripture at the same time and it's a beautiful thing I really

enjoy it mark chapter 6 is where we are. It's one of Mark's longest

chapters. You've noticed as we've worked through the book of Mark, there's a pattern. Jesus

reveals himself as the king who's brought the kingdom of God. He reveals himself and then there's

resistance. Typically that was earlier in the book, that was with the religious leaders and then there's resistance. Typically, that was earlier in the book,

that was with the religious leaders, and then it became the demons were resisting him,

these evil spirits, and then now we're starting to see the disciples. They're wrestling with

some deep issues. Yesterday, we fed the 5,000. Today, Jesus is going to come walking on the water.

Again, these are the

Bible stories from Sunday school that that we are unpacking so I don't want us

to get lost in the assumptions of the familiarity because we think we know the

story there's a deeper story here Jesus is revealing himself who is Jesus that ultimately is what Mark is trying to convey in his argument that is his gospel. Who is Jesus? Jesus is revealing himself.
