Turn with us to John 14 this morning.

John 14.

We've been on a series for a few weeks now about the words of Jesus.

Prior to that for a number of weeks, we were on the subject of becoming a disciple of Jesus

and many of us decided that we don't want to just be believers we want to be disciples of the

Lord that's a higher level, greater level of commitment.

And we want Him, you know, nothing to be preeminent over Him in our lives, but we don't try to get him to help us with our life.

We get the plan for our life from Him and follow it and conform our life in every part to him

he's lord and we're his disciples well we found that one of the key things to becoming and

developing and being a disciple was finding and keeping and doing the words of the master.

So in verse 21, John 1421, let's read it again, says,

He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me,

and he that loves me shall be loved of my father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

The amplified on that, amplifying the word manifest, he says, I will love him and show, reveal, manifest myself to him.

I will let myself be clearly seen by him.

Who are we talking about here?

Jesus, the head of the church, is going to let himself be clearly seen by us and is going to make himself real to us.
