So many of us got bitten by the outdoor gardening bug last year and man there is no better way to connect to the food that we eat than by simply growing it.

Some of my favorite experiences with my garden indoor or outdoor has been growing that tiny balcony herb

garden getting my herbs and little tomato plants to thrive and experiencing that seed to harvest

moment and that pride you get as a plant parent.

My passion for growing edible plants has really grown just like my space has so as many of our

community knows my first garden was a tiny planter full of herbs and one

tomato plant on our nine square foot balcony four years ago and since then the

balcony containers have grown what I've grown in them has grown, and now I'm so excited that

we are in our first home with acres to farm this summer. So I have to be real

starting. Plants from seed has been always extremely intimidating to me. I had

always kind of felt like it was too confusing, there was too much stuff and that I

would do it wrong, but in my efforts to continue growing as a plant parent I'm really ready to take the

plunge and dive in to seed starting and really taking that next level of getting in

touch with my food and also the financial savings that come from seed starting

in advance, and save lots of money in the long run and we are so lucky that my dear friend and mentor
