The scripture is 1 John chapter 3 verse 2, and it says this,

Dear friends, we are already God's children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like

when Christ appears, but we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

The devotional is titled, our Savior's heart beats still, and it says this,

Now Jesus says glorified human heart will never again cease to beat.

It pumps the blood of eternal life through his human veins, and for all his people.

Resurrected, he ascended to heaven in our human flesh and blood.
