And for the month of September, we are studying self-control in a new way.

I know often we feel heavy or negative connotations around self-control.

Hopefully you are gaining a brand new perspective.

I really love the way that Graham says self-control is not a half to do,

but it's a get to do with God with an opportunity where we get to make space to partner with the

Father. So the last two weeks, we've looked at self-control as a source of power and as a pause button.

Now this week is going to be a unique style. We're actually going to teach into self-control differently

today. We're going to look at it from the perspective of the Father. Graham is going to read over us

a prophetic word, like a letter from the Father's perspective to us. I really love this one line

in the middle of it. It says, we train your heart to beat like ours.

And I love the way that that relates to self-control. It's almost like a re-aligning of heartbeats,

right? If we can push that pause button, take back the power. We can realign our heart to beat

and hear and feel and see like the Father. So let's dive into this again together.
