to the Master's Fam. But this is the Messy Masterpiece Podcast, which had in Torey. I'm

Chad. And I'm Torey. That's my beautiful wife, Torey, who's also kind, gentle, faithful,

all those things too. Anyways, happy Tuesday. Super excited. You're here and you're listening. I

won't bother you anymore. We're going to jump into this devotional. But go bucks. I'm still happy

about that win. He's been on a high, uh, since day one. Anyways, you guys, we're going to jump

into it today. We are in the Thrive Bible, as always. And we're going to be reading out of Genesis

3.5. And the devotional is titled twisted truth. And it says, the serpent said, God knows that

your eyes will be open as soon as you eat it. And you will be like God, knowing both good

and evil. The love letter from God says, beloved child, I created life to be wonderful and

fulfilling for you. Curiosity about taking a walk on the dark side of life can be very

dangerous. I want you to experience every good thing life has to offer. But I love you so much

that I want you to experience it my way. Not long after I created the first woman, she allowed

an unhealthy level of curiosity to carry her away from my perfect will. The partial truth she

believed in her doubt of my word brought death to her, her husband, and all her descendants.

It's the same for us today. It's not the death of a physical body, but a spiritual death that

results when we believe twisted truths. I'm asking you to test everything against my word and to

purpose yourself to live by my truth. Then you will experience the freedom that I long for you to

know. Love your Heavenly Father. The reflection says, we need to be careful to test the words of

other people against the word of God. There are those who will be used by the enemy to present a

twisted version of the truth. Partial truth does not set people free. Only the power and truth of
