They're not the big fun updates for which betas have flown but Apple did release a few

important updates on Thursday. The piece for men gadgets says the

Cupertino Company cut loose with iOS and iPad OS 17.1.2 as well as Mac OS

Sonoma 14.1.2.

A quick visit to Apple's security updates page also shows the company releasing Safari 17.1.2 for machines running MacOS Monterrey and MacoS Ventura.

Dot updates late in the week. If you're thinking emergency security fixes, pin arose on you.

All four of the updates address web kit vulnerabilities that are apparently under active exploit.

In Associated Notes, Apple says it is aware of a report that these issues may have been exploited

against versions of iOS before iOS 16.7.1. Then Gadget says the security patches cover

iPhone 10s and later iPad Pro 12.9 inch, second generation and later, iPad Pro 10.5 inch,

iPad Pro 11 inch, first generation and later, iPad Air third generation and later, iPad Air, 3rd generation and later,

iPad 6 generation and later, and iPad Mini, 5th generation and later.
