Take a look at some of his post-spring practice rankings, kind of dive into that

a little bit. Talk a lot about Tennessee's quarterback competition between Faison Brandon and George

McIntyre. And hit on a couple other topics why Josh Heiple has not getting the respect that he deserves.

That's coming up in segments two and three of today's show. But today, the big news, Christian

Furman is committed to the University of Tennessee. And I said in the cold open, we can all breathe a sigh of relief. This is a big one. And I'm not lying, this is a big one. And that's why we can breathe a sigh of relief, if you will. I'm not saying he's going to come in here and be all SEC. I'm not saying he's going to come in here and be a starter. In fact, he's not, I mean, anything can happen, but I don't think he's going to be

a starter. I think he's strictly a rotational piece and a depth option that's going to get some

minutes, no doubt. But this was a big relief because, number one, he's 6 foot 10. Tennessee had no

players on its roster unless I'm just missing somebody that is over 6 foot 10. Tennessee had no players on its roster unless I'm just missing somebody that is over

6 foot 9. You've got DeWain Brown the 6'8, you've got other transfer portal additions,

Miles Rubin was 6.9, Chris Washington in the signing class is 6-8. Ralph Scott is 6-8. So, yeah, I mean, you had no, let's see, Brayden Lou. I forgot to look him up. Whoops, let's look at that right now. Braiden Lou, I believe, is 6-9 as well. Let me confirm here. Oh, he's 6-8. Okay, so Tennessee's only player above 6- 6 foot 9 is now on the roster. And I'm not trying to say that this is the end all be y'all. I mean, basketball shifted and evolved a little bit. You don't have to have two bigs out there over 7 foot or 6 foot 10, 6 foot 11 or whatever. That's not what the game is anymore, but you've got to have some length, right? And you You had to have some more link. Tennessee had one roster spot spot to fill and it filled it and it was always going to be a big man. It was always going to be a forward and that's Christian Furman now from BCU. So he's 6 foot 10 and that's big because Tennessee needed some more length. Okay. He might come in and play five, six minutes a game or whatever, but he might be charged with coming in and defending a post down low that's given Tennessee issues.

That maybe can be his role.

But now the roster is complete.

You have more length.
