Summary

The one great world religion is killing the planet on the backs of the poor.  Will the church let this death-dealing faith, economism, win?  John Cobb is here to challenge the church with a progressive missiology.  One in which the church is called to join God in working for the salvation of the world.  What do we gotta do?  We need to combat religiosity and secularism by secularizing Christianity! This is the first part of session four from the emergent village theological conversation.  John's first appearance was posted here and here where he discusses Christology and the Common Wealth of God. John Cobb has been on the podcast a number of times; Prayer and Process, and the special 101st episode, earth day, and Incarnation-cast. Cobb will answer your questions. Want more Process theology?
