Summary

"All things are present before me," says the Lord to the early saints. That phrase is mind-blowing especially when we start to consider its implications. However, for us, all things are not present; we have a past that might weigh on us and a future that might worry us. In this episode we study the past, the present, and the future as we ask ourselves what we should put (and keep) in our past, prioritize in our present, and focus on in our future. 0:23.4	This week we are studying for April 12th through 18th in Doctrine and Covenants,
0:29.0	sections 37 through 40.
0:32.0	We are coming off of a week of general conference, and it was a good conference.
0:38.8	Do you have any play by play for us on your thoughts on general conference?
0:44.0	Well, I only, because we were talking about this a little bit earlier, I had a student
0:50.3	of mine that remarked that this conference, he did not go into conference with any kind of
0:56.1	specific question in mind and therefore didn't come out of conference with any real life-altering
1:04.5	light bulb moment or insight which that was interesting I think sometimes there's always this pressure that this has to be the greatest conference
1:14.1	ever and we have to come out of it with something new that we've learned.
1:17.3	But I liked what he said.
1:18.3	He said what I did want out of conference was just confirmation that I'm in the right place,
1:23.4	that this is where I should be.
1:24.9	And he says that I got.
1:26.5	So it wasn't any one specific talk
1:28.3	or any one insight that's going to change my life,
1:31.5	but it was a feeling of this is,
1:33.4	I belong with the Saints.
1:35.4	And this is a student that has wrestled with that
1:38.6	in his own life, where he belongs
