Summary

Joseph was corrected by an angel as he sought to procure wine for the sacrament. Hiram Page was corrected as he sought to receive revelation. Oliver Cowdery was corrected as he sought to serve as a Church leader. Correction, it seems, was vital to the growth of the newly-restored Church. As we seek to grow ourselves we might expect (and hopefully accept) correction from the Lord as well. In this episode we ask the question: What correction(s) would the Lord give me? Study with us as we search for principles to help us figure out where, when, and how those corrections might come. Show Notes: Henry B. Eyring, "Continuing Revelation," October 2014. Visit our website scripturestudyproject.com or connect to us on Instagram or Facebook Music: “Do Not Go Gentle” by Josh Woodward

And we want to apologize for this episode coming out a lot later than we were hoping to. We have been releasing our

0:39.9

episodes this year in 2021 on Fridays because we know that there has been, as a lot of you,

0:47.5

we've had a lot of people ask if we could release them a little bit earlier for those of you

0:51.6

who are teaching seminary or teaching lessons and just to give a little bit earlier. For those of you who are teaching seminary or teaching lessons,

0:54.6

and just to give a little bit of a buffer a little earlier. So we don't plan on not doing that

1:02.5

anymore. Next week's episode, and hopefully all the episodes after that will still be released

1:07.6

on the Friday before we start the study. But that's beside the point. Thanks for being

1:12.2

patient with us. We are looking forward to this week's study. As usual, we want to follow up with

1:19.9

last week's question and some of the answers that we had to our discussion on Instagram.

1:27.2

The question, if you remember, is what is my calling and more about

1:32.0

what talents has God given to me and what does he expect me to do with them? I so appreciated so many of,

1:39.7

anyway, it's always fun to read the discussion. There were a few comments, Mari Millie and Duleen

1:48.3

Reese, who both mentioned their patriarchal blessing is something that they had gone back to

1:53.5

through the years to remind themselves or to refresh what they felt like God was asking

2:00.2

them to do. And I love that they brought that up because that isn't something that I had thought about

2:04.2

or that we talked about last week.

2:05.9

And I think just what a great place that is to go back to that revelation that you've received
