0:30.5	And I'm really excited for this study.
0:33.3	It's going to be a bit longer this episode than the mini episodes we've been doing during the
0:38.3	summer for two reasons.
0:39.3	One, because Kristen, the kids are gone, aside from a couple of phone conversations with
0:44.3	them, I have not had a whole lot of use for my voice.
0:48.3	And our house is usually filled with lots of talking, lots of noise.
0:53.3	And so I'm feeling really quiet and I would like to have a little bit more noise.
0:58.5	So forgive me if I use the opportunity to talk a bit more.
1:02.4	But the bigger reason is because Section 76 is such a significant section, both for church
1:09.4	history.
1:09.9	It revealed things that not only helped church members
1:18.2	understand the afterlife better, but it also positioned the church doctrinally in a place that
1:27.3	made it diverge pretty sharply from some
1:30.1	mainstream Christian churches. It caused quite a stir in the community and in the community of
1:36.1	the church and served as kind of a crux of church history. So with all of that and because of what it means for us,
1:47.6	we decided we couldn't just do a mini episode on this one. So with all of that, I want to start
