Hi, I'm Willow Belden, the host of Out There podcast. Over the past eight years, we've been sharing award-winning outdoor stories, stories that use nature to help you make sense out of life. And now we're excited to bring you a new season.

The theme for the season is Secrets of the Earth.

Each episode, we're sharing a story about something that happened outdoors that uncovered new truths.

The stories are all introspective personal narratives, just like you know and love,

and they all harness the power of nature to give us a fresh look at our own humanity.

I felt like I was on fire.

It was like someone had plugged me into an electric socket. It was this incredible high and I just stood on the dock.

I was so aware of being back in that zone of joy,

being aware that you love this.

It was the weirdest thing of like this sense and feeling of serenity, this sense and feeling that like

everything is going to be okay.

Join us this season as we explore the natural world

in order to better understand ourselves.

Together, we'll get lost in the desert,

we'll wander the beach, and we'll find our way home
