I'm your host, Haley Rawl, and today is my Super Bowl, my Roman Empire, if you will, because we get to talk about

secret lives of Mormon wives.

We just got season three.

I binge watched it.

I know a lot of you binge watched it.

I love talking about the secret lives of Mormon wives because, number one, I just love

reality television generally, but also

I am a former Mormon and I love talking about Mormonism. I love talking about the overlap of

influencer culture and Mormonism. I like talking about Mormonism specifically as it relates to

younger millennials and Gen Z people. And so the secret

lives of Mormon wives really is just such great fodder for the types of conversations that I

personally love to have. I've said this since season one of this show, and I will say it again,

it is really hard to wrap my head around as a

Utah-born, Mormon-raised young wife and mother myself. How gigantic this show has become,

watching conversations on a television show this huge about Mormonism is just really kind of mind-blowing

because I feel like Mormonism, you know, we got some shoutouts here and there when I was growing

up in the church and it was always a big deal if anyone mentioned Mormons, if there was ever

a reference about Mormonism. And so to have it really taking

center stage in this way is just a crazy thing to witness. I was watching the show on Hulu,
