Hey, everyone, and welcome to the Dinesh D'Souza podcast. Obviously, I'm not Dinesh. My name is Chad Prather. I am the host of the Chad Prather show, as well as the Dear the Dear America podcast morning show each day, Monday through Thursdays.

I'm not sure that men are designed to talk this much, but here we are. I am certainly humbled not only to do my shows, but to be asked by Dinesh to fill in for him.

So I humbly thank you for the opportunity to speak into your life and your daily schedule

just a little bit today. We've got a lot of things that are going on in our world. Trump, of course,

has announced his EO in regards to tariffs. Are they going to work? We don't know. There's really

no way to know what tariffs are going to do. The market today has responded with the volatility that we expected.

What is going to be the long-lasting effects?

We'll talk about that in terms of, well, I guess our best estimate or our guesstimate

in terms of what tariffs may or may not do to the American consumer and average citizen. There are many in the GOP who are

disagreeing with this, and they've actually sided with the Democrats. Some are some surprising names,

like Rand Paul, who has said that this is not constitutional. I'd love to hear what some of
